Check out Allen Airway’s Steve McQueen Stearman Saluting San Diego Healthcare Workers during the panademic!

Zach Harris, flying the world-famous Steve McQueen Stearman N3188, leads a five-ship formation on a flyby of each San Diego hospital to salute the world's finest healthcare workers as they battle Covid-19.

On his wing as #2 flies Bill Allen, the proud owner of N3188 and Allen Airways Flying Museum at Gillespie Field. #3 features Rick Fordem from Borrego Springs in his Stearman with the unmistakable military livery. Gary Gobel and Mike Tracy fly as #4 in Gary's beautiful yellow Stearman. And rounding out the classic biplanes, Stu MacPherson and his wife Roni fly #5 in their gorgeous Travel Air.

Our thanks to Bill Allen for the use of his planes, to Phil Kendro for planning an amazing event, to all the air traffic controllers, FAA officials, and aviation leaders who helped us coordinate a safe flight, and MOST of all to everyone on the front lines of the Coronavirus fight.
